The Oxford Museum brings the story of Oxford to life through original artefacts, college treasures and period room settings from pre-historic times up to the 20th Century. The website gives up to date information about all their activities for families and details of all special exhibitions and events. The museum is located in the historic Town Hall, and the entrance is off St Aldate's on the corner of Blue Boar Street. It is a short walking distance from Gloucester Green coach station and the Oxford Information Centre, and 10 minutes walk from the train station. Coaches and buses can drop and collect passengers at nearby Oxpens. Car travellers may leave cars all day at the park-and-ride car parks.

City Sightseeing Oxford give city bus tours that last approximately 1 hour and depart every 10/15 minutes (subject to season and traffic conditions). No need to book, just pay the driver or sales staff, your ticket is valid all day and you can get on and off at any of the 20 stops on the tour. Keep hold of your ticket for re boarding.
