Is there parking at the hostel?
No, however across the road is a parking station. 8:00am to 7:00pm £1 an hour. Free 7:00pm to 8:00am Monday to Saturday. Sunday £2.50 all day.

Is Breakfast included?
Yes, there is a free continental breakfast and we have a self-catering kitchen.

Do I need to bring a sleeping bag?
No, linen is provided.

Is the credit card booking page secure?
Yes.

What are the reception hours?
8:00am to 12midnight.

Are we able to check-in after hours?
Yes, just call beforehand and inform the manager.

Where is the closest supermarket?
In Henry street, just around the corner from the hostel.

Do you have a kitchen?
Yes

Do you have internet and how much is it?
Yes we do. £1 for half an hour.

What is the cancellation policy?
48 hours notice.

Where is good to grab a beer?
There are loads of pubs and clubs in Bath. The staff are always willing to help point you in the right direction so you can have a fun night out.

And some food?
There is ample choice close to the hostel in Pierrepont Street and North Parade. The hostel also has a kitchen and convenient supermarkets.

Where can I leave my bag for the day?
In reception. £1 for guests.

Do you have lockers?
Yes. Bring a lock and you can use them. If you require more space i.e.; Laptop you may use reception for looking after you equipment.

What time do the tours to Stonehenge depart?
There are two tours which we can book for you. The first one is a full day tour starting at 8:00am. The second one is a half day tour leaving at 2pm.
 

Where do they go on the tour?
Four day tour: Stonehenge, Avenbury Circles, Laycock Village and CastleCoombe

Half day tour: Stonehenge.

What time do they get back?
hour day tour: 17:00
Half day tour: 17:00

How much is it to get into Stonehenge?
Around £5.00

Can I swim in the Roman Baths?
No.

When will they be open?
The Roman Baths are open between 9am-5pm

How much is it to go into the Baths?
Around £9.50
 

OXFORD

Is there any car parking and how much is it?
There is a car parking close by, it is about ₤8.50 for the whole weekend and is just opposite the train station, only about 5 minutes walk form the Hostel itself.

How much is it by Bus and Train from London etc?
The bus from London is not very expensive at all. You can normally get tickets on the Oxford Tube for about  ₤12.00 return or  ₤10.00 single. The Oxford Tube also leaves on a regular basis throughout the day/night.

How do we get to the Bath Hostel from Oxford?
The Train to Bath from Oxford and vice versa is easy and worth while. Its cost’s about ₤9.80 return and leaves on the hour direct with only one stop in Didcot.

Is there anywhere to store bikes?
The oxford Backpackers has a bike shed on site for the safe storage of your bike while you stay with us; it’s located at the front of the building on the ground floor. Alternatively there is a large bike stand by the train station where bikes can be locked and stored over night.
